Tazorac is used to treat skin conditions such as plaque psoriasis and acne. It helps to improve the appearance and texture of your face by encouraging your skin to renew itself more quickly, making it look more even. It is a topical medication and is applied to the skin in the form of a cream. It works by blocking certain chemicals in the body that can cause the skin to overproduce cells, resulting in redness and flaking. It is also used to reduce the size of cysts and bumps associated with acne. In addition, tazorac may help to smooth the lines and wrinkles of your face and reduce the appearance of freckles and other skin discolorations.
